A reminder that school is closed tomorrow for all but those children of key workers or vulnerable children who have no other option.
When you arrive at school, through the front door, you will be asked to check that your child is on the register and show proof of key worker status. You will be required to sign a declaration that you meet the criteria and that there is no alternative childcare available before you can leave them. If they are not on the register then they will not be able to stay in school. Can we also ask that you observe ‘social distancing’ rules in the office area and around the school grounds. Please be patient on arrival as the process outlined above will take longer than a normal drop off.
If you have not been in touch yet but feel that you are a key worker or a parent of a vulnerable child listed by the Government who has absolutely no other option than utilising childcare at the school please contact the school on the following email firstname.lastname@example.org and we will be in touch during school hours tomorrow. Please do not come to the office or attempt to phone.
Government guidance to schools and instruction to the general public is that children should not be in school. They are safer at home and every effort should be made by parents to keep them at home. We are aiming to reduce child numbers to minimise the risk to both the children and staff of spreading COVID -19
Thank you for your continued support and understanding. All these actions are necessary to keep the population including your children safe.
Welcome to Boughton Leigh Infant School.
Welcome to the Boughton Leigh Infant School website! I hope you will find the information useful and will be able to see from your visit the wonderful environment for learning we are able to offer.
We like to work closely with parents/carers and we recognise it is important that you choose a school where you feel confident your child will be cared for, valued and most importantly will be happy. Your child will then be ready to learn.
Staff and governors are proud of this school and we recommend that prospective parents/carers visit us during the school day so you can see for yourself what an exciting, happy place it is!
