BOUGHTON LEIGH PUPIL WINS CHRISTMAS CARD COMPETITION

A competition to design a Christmas card for the London-based International Literacy Centre has been won by our Year 2 pupil

Sienna-Louise Bent.

Among the VIPs receiving her card - which features a decorated Christmas tree with presents, a reindeer and snowflakes – will be Secretary of State for Education, the Rt Hon Justine Greening MP.

The International Literacy Centre promotes literacy education from age 2 to 13. It brings together the highest quality of professional support to enable all children to achieve excellence in literacy.

Teachers at Boughton Leigh Infant School follow their Reading Recovery programme for pupils who need extra support in reading and writing.

Well done Sienna-Louise!
